It looks very hot and lush - and I especially love that ragged passion flower at the end. My garden got off to a slow start this year but now I'm finding it hard to kee p up with it. Watering is a chore and I really must get a fresh hosepipe. The roses are looking lovely, last year the buds just rotted and fell off with all that never ending rain. This year my zephirine drouhin has been a real show - I wish I'd taken a photo of the first flush it was amazing though I say it myself. I've dead-headed her now but she's looking a bit straggely and I'm tempted to do a little pruning (better not). How wonderful it must be to be able to rely on a summer like this every year.
