I enjoy watching the birds in my garden, and have recently seen a tiny little brownish bird running up trees like a mouse.
Is it a nuthatch or a tree creeper - or something else.  I wonder if its nesting?

Sounds like a tree creeper to me. The smallest bird native to the UK. Having problems posting replies but I'll keep checking back

No its not a wren, but I enjoy watching it although its not a 'regular'.
Today I had problems posting a reply to this and realised that for some time now I've had to sign-in every session.  As long as I remember this I can cope.
The weather over the last few days had made me too optimistic that Spring had really sprung, but today we're back to the strong winds and although the weather forecast tells me its 10c here (wot?) I reckon its nearer 4 so the seeds I bought will have to stay in their packets a little longer.
Its not pleasant trying to look after the garden when its wet and cold but it must be warming up because the lawn needs mowing (although its so soggy I'm not sure thats a good idea) and the weeds are romping ahead.
Roll on Summer.
