I have a beautiful Jackmanii which does me proud every year.  Last year the early sprouts were eaten by something - just the tips - so it didn't reach its full potential (long word for me!).  Someone suggested vine weevil but I thought these attacked the roots, I wondered if it was rabbits so I put netting round but it made no difference.  I have a lot of slugs but this didn't look like slug damage.
Has anyone any ideas so that I can be ready with my 'ammunition' this spring?
